Adding a pet to your lifestyle is a HEALTHY and JOYFUL choice, but it also comes with many responsibilities. Pets require proper food, grooming, veterinary care, exercise, and socialization. The good news is that we have plenty of pets with different personalities and needs to fit every lifestyle!

There are literally hundreds of homeless pets currently in our care that are waiting to find loving homes! When you call or email to inquire about a particular pet that you are interested in adopting, please make sure to provide your first and last name, the best phone number to reach you at, and the animal’s name and ID number.

From November 1st to November 30th, all regular adoption fees are reduced to ONLY $20 for our Adopt A Senior Pet Month!

When you adopt a pet from our shelter it comes with the peace of mind in knowing that your newly adopted pet will be current on preventative care, spayed or neutered and have the added safety and protect that comes with microchipping!

Adopting a pet from our shelter helps the local communities within the Imperial County not only by placing stray animals in their furever homes, but in helping local cities and their citizens embrace the true meaning of a humane economy.

When adopting from us you will meet with one of our Pet Adoption Matchmakers which will guide you through the process and help you find the right pet for your lifestyle needs!

REGULAR ADOPTION FEES:
Kittens (under 1 year of age): $80
Adult Cats (1 year of age and older): $60
Puppies (under 1 year of age): $150
Adult Dogs (1 to 7 years of age): $120
Senior Dogs (8 years of age or older): $100
Rabbits (any age): $60

Our adoption benefits include:

All adopted cats, dogs, and rabbits are spayed and neutered.
All adopted cats and dogs are up-to-date on all required vaccinations for the first year of adoption date.
All adopted pets are microchipped with a lifetime registration. No hidden monthly or annual fees.
All adopted pets are entitled to one (1) FREE wellness check with a local veterinarian (within Imperial County).
All adopted cats and kittens are FIV and FeLV tested.
All adopted puppies and dogs are entitled to one (1) FREE grooming with Awesome Pawz Pet Grooming in Holtville OR 50% off first grooming with Mende’s Groom Room in El Centro, within thirty (30) days of adoption date.
Dogs and puppies are eligible for one (1) FREE 45 minute training session with Buddy Sweets in Brawley.
